Four-star recruit MarShawn Lloyd is in Columbia
South Carolina’s 2020 recruit is in town.
Gamecocks four-star tailback commit MarShawn Lloyd posted an Instagram video with a location tag in Columbia. He’s listed as an unofficial visitor by 247.
Other Gamecocks, wide receiver Rico Powers, running back Rashad Amos and defensive tackle Makius Scott, all posted on Twitter they’re in town for official visits.
Lloyd is rated as the No. 39 recruit in the country in the 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s the No. 7 running back and No. 3 player in Maryland.
Last season, Lloyd ran for 1,197 yards, including a career-high 326 yard game. He also had six receptions for 138 yards, three touchdowns and had a kickoff return for a score.
Lloyd rarely speaks publicly, but recently he told several outlets his commitment remains 100 percent solid. Will Muschamp visited him last week.
