South Carolina offers NC QB recruit coming off freshman season
South Carolina has its 2021 QB recruit in Colten Gauthier. They’re zeroed in on a 2022 passer in Gunner Stockton. On Wednesday, they offered another passer for 2023.
Cornelius, North Carolina passer Tad Hudson tweeted he’d received an offer from the Gamecocks. He’s the third passer with a public offer from USC, along with Dylan Lonergan and Raheim Jeter.
Hudson is not yet ranked and played sparingly behind a senior at Hough High School as a freshman last fall. He did start the team’s playoff game.
He threw 62 passes, completing 54.8 percent for 576 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He was playing alongside former South Carolina running back target Evan Pryor and wide receiver target a Antonio Barber.
