50 burger in Columbia!

The Gamecocks have officially scored 50 points.

Running back Bradley Dunn scored the touchdown that pushed the Gamecocks to 51 points against Coastal. It’s the first time South Carolina has scored 50 or more points in a game since they scored 56 against Wofford in 2024.

Shutout spoiled

South Carolina was nine minutes away from shutting out Coastal, but a special teams blunder gave Coastal its first points of the game.

Jameson Tucker blocked Mason Love’s punt and recovered the ball, taking it 17 yards to the end zone for a touchdown.

The shutout may be spoiled, but South Carolina still leads 44-7.

Cutter Woods and Air Noland see the field

Freshman Cutter Woods and redshirt freshman Air Noland have both seen snaps at quarterback for South Carolina in the fourth quarter.

Doty’s night ends after one drive where he threw for five yards and the offense went three and out.

New QB in for South Carolina

Sixth-year quarterback Luke Doty is now in at quarterback for the Gamecocks.

The veteran was honored before the game for senior day and is now captaining South Carolina’s offense in the fourth quarter.

Doty has 1,691 passing yards and nine touchdowns to his name as a Gamecock. He’s bounced around and played a few different positions for South Carolina during his career.

Sellers finishes the day 16-for-20 with 274 passing yards and four total touchdowns.

Tush push!

South Carolina has run the “tush push” play twice on offense tonight.

Both times tight end Brady Hunt, listed at 6-foot-5 and 248 pounds, has lined up at quarterback and been the Gamecock to score on the play.

Hunt had never logged a rushing attempt, much less a rushing touchdown, in his career prior to the Coastal game.

Big first half for Gamecocks

South Carolina is up 37-0 going into halftime against Coastal.

The Gamecocks totaled 419 offensive yards in the first half. That’s the most yards South Carolina has logged in a game, let alone a single half.

Sellers is 11-for-14 through the air for 227 yards and two touchdowns. He also 56 rushing yards and two scores on the ground.

USC’s defense held Coastal to just 137 total yards of offense in the first half.

First quarter scoring stat

South Carolina leads Coastal 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.

This is the most points the Gamecocks have scored in the first quarter this season. South Carolina has scored more than seven points in the first quarter just twice in 2025: against Texas A&M and today against Coastal.

The Gamecocks totaled 201 yards of offense compared to Coastal’s 65 in the first quarter. LaNorris Sellers has completed all four of his passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. He added another touchdown on the ground and has 31 rushing yards.

His brother, Jayden Sellers, leads South Carolina with 117 receiving yards.

Early turnover leads to more points for Gamecocks

South Carolina defensive lineman Bryan Thomas Jr. sacked Coastal Carolina quarterback Tad Hudson on the first play of the Chanticleers second drive of the game.

Thomas forced the ball to pop out and Gamecocks defensive back Jalon Kilgore recovered the ball to give South Carolina possession near the red zone.

The Gamecocks scored a few plays later on a tush push at the goal line. Tight end Brady Hunt lined up at quarterback on the play and got the one-yard touchdown rush.

Sellers finds Sellers to start the game

South Carolina tapped into a brotherly connection to get things going against Coastal.

LaNorris Sellers found his younger brother, wide receiver Jayden Sellers, for a completion on a screen pass on the first play of the game.

Jayden Sellers took the ball 75 yards down the sideline for a touchdown. The score is the first of his collegiate career.

Late addition to injury report

Star edge rusher Dylan Stewart is not playing for South Carolina today.

Stewart was on the official dress list for the Gamecocks but is currently on the sideline in sweatpants.

The final injury report: No Nyck Harbor

South Carolina will be without star wide receiver Nyck Harbor on Saturday.

Harbor was seen walking around during pregame in sweatpants and his jersey while his teammates warmed up.

“He won’t play today,” coach Shane Beamer told Todd Ellis on the 107.5 pregame radio show. “Optimistic that he’ll be back next week against Clemson.”

Harbor was injured during South Carolina’s game last week against spent Saturday night in a College Station hospital, though it was for “precautionary” reasons. Beamer said Tuesday that Harbor was making progress.

Jalewis Solomon will not be playing this week and Brandon Cisse should be good to go, Beamer said during his weekly radio show Thursday.

There won’t be any more official availability reports from the SEC for the Gamecocks because their final two games are against out-of-conference opponents.
