A look at The State’s Midlands all-area girls high school teams and players of the year for the 2026 season.

All-Area Girls Soccer Team

Adriana Dunat, Lexington: Senior had 25 goals and 11 assists. Dunat was Region 5-5A Player of Year, All-State and Clash of Carolinas selection and signed to play in college with Davidson.

First Team

Laura Boggs, AC Flora: Senior defender had two goals and three assists. Boggs was All-State and selected to play in the North-South All-Star game.

Lila Bowers, Chapin: Senior was All-State and Clash of Carolinas selection in helping the Eagles to Class 5A Division II championship. Bowers, a Winthrop signee, scored 26 goals and had eight assists.

Rachel Britt, AC Flora: Junior defender was All-State selection and had 8 goals and 9 assists.

Juliette Carmona, Newberry: Junior midfielder was an All-State selection and led the Bulldogs with 29 goals and 19 assists.

Vanessa Coleman, Gray Collegiate: Senior midfielder had 7 goals and 8 assists this season. Coleman was an All-State and North-South selection and signed with South Carolina State.

Victoria Coleman, Gray Collegiate: Senior forward scored 35 goals and had 11 assists for the War Eagles. Coleman was SC Coaches Association of Women’s Sports Player of Year, All-State and North-South All-Star selection and signed with South Carolina State.

Adriana Dunat, Lexington: Senior had 25 goals and 11 assists. Dunat was Region 5-5A Player of Year, All-State and Clash of Carolinas selection and signed with Davidson.

Madeline Gerland, Hammond: Senior midfield/center back was SCISA 1-4A Co-Player of Year and All-State selection after scoring six goals and having four assists.

Mary Grace Gabriel, Ben Lippen: Junior forward/midfielder had 30 goals and 8 assists this season. Gabriel was a SCISA All-State selection.

Hailey Jimenez Cortez, Brookland-Cayce: Senior forward had 26 goals and 16 assists this season.

Claire Kaminski, Cardinal Newman: Junior midfielder was SCISA Region 1-4A Player of Year, SCISA All-State and had three goals and seven assists this season.

Lydia Kiker, Gray Collegiate: Freshman forward had 33 goals and 11 assists this season. Kiker was an All-State selection.

Marta Llorca, Camden: Senior forward was an All-State selection and led Camden with 34 goals and five assists.

Jillian Muir, Dreher: Senior was All-State selection and North-South game pick for the Blue Devils.

Brooke Ogorek, River Bluff: Senior midfield had 5 goals and 11 assists. Ogorek was All-State and Clash of the Carolinas selection and signed with Troy University.

Mia Reilly, Lugoff-Elgin: Junior midfielder and Lander commit had 29 goals and 11 assists this season.

Angie Rios, Saluda: Forward was Region Player of Year and All-State selection in helping Tigers to first region title since 2017

Shaelyn Smith, Lexington: Junior center back had 5 goals and 3 assists this season. Smith was All-State selection and committed to play at Austin Peay.

Avery Stoner, Chapin: Sophomore was All-State selection in helping the Eagles to Class 5A Division II championship. Stoner finished with 21 goals and 10 assists.

Sydney Stoner, Chapin: Senior defender had 4 goals and 3 assists. Stoner was an All-State, Clash of Carolinas selection and signed with Presbyterian College.

Tessa Walck, Gilbert: Freshman midfielder had 10 goals, 12 assists and was an All-State selection.

Goalkeepers

Kennedy Bagley, AC Flora: Junior was All-State selection in helping Falcons to second-straight Class 4A championship. Bagley had 177 saves, a 90 percent save percentage and 0.756 goals allowed average.

Ruth Ann McCarty, Gray Collegiate: Junior goalkeeper allowed just nine goals this season, had a 0.41 goals allowed average and recorded 21 shutouts.
