Quidditch Cup coming to Columbia in 2016

Saluda Shoals Park will be the host site of the 2015-16 US Quidditch Cup 9, formerly known as the World Cup.

Columbia beat out Tulsa as the host with event coordinators citing Saluda Shoals’ location and permanent facilities and amenities.

It’s the third year in a row that the national tournament has been held in South Carolina – Myrtle Beach hosted in 2014, Rock Hill in 2015.

The Columbia event will be April 16-17, 2016.
