Catch winners, contestants in RuPaul’s ‘Drag Race’ in Columbia

If RuPaul’s “Drag Race” is one of the only reasons you watch Logo – in addition to its programming lineup of cult classic films and binge-worthy sitcoms like “Roseanne,” “Will and Grace” and “The Nanny” – then get ready to gag on the eleganza that you are about to read.

For the third consecutive year, winners and contestants of RuPaul’s “Drag Race” are hitting these skreets to “give you life!” as the kids would say.

Michelle Visage – a judge on the wildly popular show and one of RuPaul’s closest bosom buddies – will host the 66 tour dates, spanning 63 cities – including Columbia on Tuesday, May 17.

Contestants from Seasons 1-7 will perform, with a roster that includes such well-known queens as Adore Delano, Alaska, Courtney Act, Ginger Minj, Miss Fame, Phi Phi O’Hara, Violet Chachki and Pearl to DJ. All will take Music Farm Columbia’s stage and floor (and likely bar) by storm to show that what we saw on television was but a fraction of their talent. Each will bring a different flavor to the punch, so to speak, so it’s only right you know who will be most likely to spike it.

Adore Delano: Adore was first introduced to our TV screens as Daniel Anthony “Danny” Noriega, a contestant on the seventh season of “American Idol” in 2008. He later re-emerged as Adore Delano on the sixth season of “Drag Race,” having made it to the top three. Since “Drag Race,” Delano has gone on to release two studio albums: “Till Death Do Us Party” in 2014 and “After Party” in 2016.

Alaska: Alaska (whose last name can’t be printed for a number of reasons) was the fifth season runner-up of “Drag Race” and notably dated the fourth season winner, Sharon Needles (who’s also on the tour). Her quick wit, dry sense of humor and Bea Arthur-like voice made her a favorite on the screen, so her performance should be as wild as her last name.

Courtney Act: This saucy Aussie is considered a bit of a pop phenom Down Under. Shane Jenek rose to fame as the semifinalist on “Australian Idol” in 2003 as Courtney Act, and released an official solo single, “Rub Me Wrong” in 2004. Act was a runner-up on Season 6 of “Drag Race.”

Ginger Minj: One of the funniest full-figured queens to come out of Florida, the self-professed “glamor toad” was pegged a fan favorite from the beginning of Season 7 and the first “big girl” to make to it into the “Drag Race” top three. Prepare to be put in stitches as she brings her Southern charm to the stage.

Miss Fame: Season 7 contestant Fame was the first announced for the season and the seventh to exit. Since being eliminated, Fame has embarked on a music career, releasing “Rubber Doll” as the first single for her debut album, “Beauty Marked.” The album features fellow contestants Alaska and Violet Chachki, who will both be at the show. Sounds like a song or two off the album may make it onto her set.

Phi Phi O’Hara: The most disliked girl of Season 4, O’Hara has worked tirelessly to clean up her image. Oh, who are we kidding? She hasn’t lifted a manicured finger to change what people think about her, which might explain why she made it to the top three – that and her spirited stage performance. This year, she has embarked on “365 Days of Drag,” and as you can imagine, she’s posting a new look. Every. Single. Day. Hate her or love her, she’s going to rock the house down.

Violet Chachki: Season 7’s winner is all things you love to hate: young, thin and fabulous. A standout from the beginning of the competition at just 22 years old, Chachki already had accomplished a lot in her three years of doing drag prior to becoming a contestant on “Drag Race.” Known to be able to cinch her waist down to a mere 18 inches, this “look queen” is more than meets the eye.

So start your engines race fans. This performance will not be one to miss.
