New face to join the WOLO-TV evening news team

WOLO-TV on Tuesday named a new co-anchor for its evening news.

Josh Berry, a native of Dallas, Texas, and most recently a weekend anchor in Little Rock, Arkansas, starts his new duties co-anchoring the evening news at 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. July 3, 2017.

“I look forward to spending time with and earning the trust of viewers in the Midlands,” Berry said in a news release from the station on Tuesday.

Berry is a graduate of Henderson State University in Arkansas. He fills the co-anchor spot most recently held by Ben Hoover who left the local ABC affiliate in April.
