Bowling and lattes for truckers? New Columbia travel center seeks diverse customers

The Petro Stopping Center at Bluff Road and I-77 opened Wednesday with travelers and locals checking out the travel center’s bowling alley, arcade center, restaurant and Starbucks. Unlike most other “truck stops,” the new Petro is designed to appeal to nearby residents as well as travelers. The center includes a Minit Mart, Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant, a truck maintenance garage, and Best Wings USA.
