All lanes of I-20 open after car fire

Update:

SCDOT reported a vehicle that caught fire and caused traffic congestion early Tuesday afternoon has been cleared.

All lanes of traffic are open.

SCDOT reported they have opened some lanes of traffic on Interstate 20 following a vehicle fire.

The right lane of I-20 about a mile east of Exit 82 is closed.

The S.C. Department of Transportation is reporting a vehicle fire is blocking all lanes of eastbound Interstate 20.

The wreck was reported around 12:26 p.m. Tuesday on I-20 eastbound about a mile east of exit 82 to Spears Creek Church Road near Pontiac.
