Could Lizard Man emerge during eclipse? SC agency says to ‘remain ever vigilant’
Is Lizard Man more active during an eclipse? We’re about to find out.
The South Carolina Emergency Management Division said in a post on social media that it did not know if Lizardmen became more active during a solar eclipse. But the agency advised residents of Lee and Sumter counties to remain ever vigilant.
“Regarding possible paranormal activity potentially occurring during the #SolarEclipse2017,” the agency stated in a tweet. “As always, if you see something, say something.”

The Lizard Man has not been sighted since August 2015, and was first reported in 1988.
Paranormal activity was reported in North Carolina over the weekend when Bigfoot was reportedly sighted by group. Bigfoot sightings have also been reported in South Carolina.
P.S. Should you spot Bigfoot any time between now and the eclipse — or even thereafter — the Greenville Police Department has asked the public not to shoot it.
