Baby lions on the way! Riverbanks Zoo shares a double dose of good news
Two Riverbanks Zoo lionesses are pregnant and due to give birth this April, the zoo announced Friday.
Lindelani and Thebisa each are expecting a pair of cubs, the zoo said in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.
They won’t be the only new mothers at the zoo.
Riverbanks recently announced that one of its gorillas, Kazi, is in her second trimester of pregnancy.
And Lottie, a koala, is toting a six-month-old joey that has just recently started to emerge from its mother’s pouch.
