Smoke from brush fire causing traffic delays on I-20
Smoke from a brush fire is causing traffic delays on Interstate 20 for Monday morning commuters.
The S.C. Highway Patrol reported congestion on I-20 near mile marker 80, which is the Clemson Road area.
S.C. Department of Transportation traffic cameras show thick smoke from brush fires in the area.
The Columbia Fire Department tweeted Sunday evening that Fort Jackson is conducting a “large acreage” controlled burn that sent a plume of smoke above much of the Columbia area.
