Sex offender exposes himself to woman, children at Richland County Waffle House
A registered sex offender was arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department after exposing himself to a woman her children at an area Waffle House.
Robert Jay Lucas, 56, was charged with indecent exposure after an incident on Sunday.
Sheriff’s deputies were notified an unknown male exposed himself in the parking lot of Waffle House, located at 2345 Broad River Road, near I-20, and located Lucas across the street panhandling for money.
Lucas is a registered sex offender and has been transported to the Alvin S Glenn Detention Center, according to Sheriff Leon Lott.
Lucas’ bond was set at $30,000.
