2 killed in Richland County nightclub shooting
Two men were killed at a Richland County nightclub on Wednesday.
The incident took place at 2219 Broad River Road just after 3 a.m., according to a social media post by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The Black Pearl – a club that identifies itself as the newest hot spot for nightlife and food – is located at that address, according to its website.
Torance L. Peoples, 26, and Trevonne J. Judge, 23, died of gunshot wounds to their upper torso, said Richland County Coroner Gary Watts.
An argument between two groups may have led to the shooting, according a news release from the sheriff’s department. A man is being questioned in relation to the shooting, the release stated. His identity has not been released.
