Video shows suspect shooting person multiple times in attempted murder at gas station
Surveillance footage of a shooting at a Midlands gas station was released by the Richland Coutny Sheriff’s Department, which is asking for the community’s help in identifying the suspected shooter.
The shooter is wanted for attempted murder, the sheriff’s department said.
The incident occurred Feb. 11 at the BP Gas Station, located in the 7300 block of Parklane Road.
Video surveillance released by the sheriff’s department shows the suspect drive to the location, walk over and immediately begin firing multiple shots at the victim. The suspect then flees the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital at approximately 1:30 a.m. in reference to a victim who was dropped off in front of the emergency room.
The person suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body, according to the sheriff’s department.
