The State is at a hearing to possibly disqualify special prosecutor David Pascoe.
Lawyers for Rep. Rick Quinn – who was the fourth South Carolina lawmaker indicted in a public corruption investigation led by Pascoe – have moved to kick Pascoe off the probe.
Quinn was indicted last week on charges of misconduct in office by the State Grand Jury. He was subsequently suspended from office.
He is accused of failing to report about $4.5 million in payments to his businesses, which were allegedly meant to influence his votes in the General Assembly.
