Clemson football is in the spotlight in May, thanks to everyone’s favorite iPhone personal assistant, Siri. And it’s for an odd reason.
Someone discovered the unique answer you get when you ask Siri the question, “When did Michael Jordan retire?” The answer is not related to NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
Instead, Siri offers a variation of this response: “Ohio St. was definitely beaten by Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl on December 31, 2016; the final score was 31-0.”
So why the glitch? Most believe it’s because the Buckeyes had a starting left guard in the game named Michael Jordan.
We tested Siri’s knowledge of Clemson’s wins over South Carolina and Alabama from last season. She seems to take favor with the Crimson Tide with her answer about the national championship:
