Clemson moves up in AP Poll following dominant win
Clemson moved up to No. 3 in the AP Poll after dominating Kent State 56-3 Saturday at Death Valley.
The Tigers will host Auburn on Saturday at 7 p.m. Auburn dropped one spot to No. 13 after topping Georgia Southern 41-7. LSU switched places with Auburn after shutting out BYU 27-0.
Alabama remains ranked No. 1 and received 60 first-place votes, while Ohio State is No. 2 with one first-place vote.
After Clemson at 3, Penn State and Oklahoma round out the top 5.
The rest of the top 10 features Southern Cal at 6, followed by Washington, Michigan, Wisconsin and Florida State. The Seminoles were previously ranked No. 3 before losing to Alabama and also losing their starting quarterback for the season in Deondre Francois.
