South Carolina band plays LSU alma mater to show support
Two tractor-trailers and a University of South Carolina police car have arrived in Baton Rouge, La. The trucks are full of items donated by Gamecock Nation in response to the recent flooding and hardships faced by Baton Rouge and Louisiana State University communities.
The move is meant to help repay the kindness LSU showed South Carolina after the Palmetto State was wrecked by record rain last fall. The Oct. 4 storm in South Carolina caused USC to move its game against LSU to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. But LSU fans did their best to make the Gamecocks feel at home, including playing USC’s music and hype video in Tiger Stadium and raising money for S.C. flood relief.
The USC community this week was happy to return the favor, including with the Carolina Band playing the LSU alma mater in this video below:
