South Carolina vs. UMass game time set

South Carolina’s football team will get a break from the late game grind against UMass.

The Gamecocks-Minutemen game will kick off at Williams-Brice Stadium at noon. on Oct. 22, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

It is South Carolina’s first noon game of the season.

South Carolina (2-4, 1-4 SEC) will have a bye this coming weekend after a 28-14 loss to Georgia.

This will be the first meeting between the Gamecocks and Minutemen.

UMass (1-5) is coming off a 36-15 loss to Old Dominion. The Minutemen gave both Florida and Mississippi State battles, but UMass has only beaten FIU in its first season as an FBS independent.
