South Carolina football roster, injury update
A roundup of news and notes about South Carolina’s roster from Will Muschamp’s media day press conference Monday.
Junior college offensive lineman Akeem Cooperwood is still working on a class issue at Georgia Military College. He has not arrived on campus yet.
Sophomore defensive end Shameik Blackshear is fully cleared from his offseason injuries (shooting) and will be ready to practice with the team this week.
Quarterback Michael Scarnecchia and linebacker Skai Moore will miss the season with injuries, as previously announced.
Injuries: Kyle Markway should be good in a couple of weeks. He had a screw put in his foot.

K.C. Crosby had some "chest issues." He'll miss a day or two. Evan Hinson will be limited after meniscus surgery.
