Sindarius Thornwell will leave his name in a lot of spots after posting one of the finest seasons in South Carolina men’s basketball history this year.
Now that includes a scholarship.
Thornwell posted on several social media sites a Gamecocks men’s basketball scholarship will be named for him. In the message, he thanked Frank Martin.

Thornwell posted a dominant final season in Garnet and Black, winning SEC Player of the Year and leading South Carolina to the first Final Four in program history. He started 132 games in his USC career.
