South Carolina basketball: Where the Gamecocks ranked this season in attendance
After a shaky start was noticed by the head coach, South Carolina men’s basketball attendance finished in a respectable position.
The Gamecocks drew an average of 12,618 fans to Colonial Life Arena this season. That ranked them sixth in the SEC. It was the fourth-highest attended season in CLA’s 16-year history and second-highest in the six-year Frank Martin era.
The Gamecocks finished 10-5 at home, with wins over Kentucky and league champion Auburn.
USC (16-15, 7-11 SEC) is the No. 11 seed in the SEC Tournament. It faces 14th-seeded Ole Miss (12-19, 5-13) at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Louis.
