A’ja Wilson will miss South Carolina-Tennessee game with ankle injury
South Carolina women’s basketball star A’ja Wilson will miss the team’s top-10 clash with No. 6 Tennessee due to an ankle injury.
Wilson, who suffered the injury during the final moments of the No. 9 Gamecocks’ win against Auburn on Thursday, had been questionable for the matchup with the Lady Vols. However, when the team took the floor of Colonial Life Arena for warmups on Sunday, Wilson was not with them. Several minutes later, she came out on a scooter, wearing a pink cast.
