A list of 25 girls basketball players to look out for this year in the Midlands (In alphabetical order):

Lauren Ajukwa, Ridge View: Averaged 7.2 points and 4.2 rebounds last year.

Tyra Beadle, Cardinal Newman: Averaged 10. 3 points and 5 assists last year at Gray Collegiate.

Mya Belton, Westwood: Averaged 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks last season.

Mckinley Brooks-Sumpter, A.C. Flora: Averaged 12.2 points a game last year.

Nigeria Davis, Newberry: All-state selection last year and Top 5 Senior Girls in Class 3A by SCBCA.

Taiylar DeMoss, Irmo: Averaged 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 steals last year.

Unique Drake, Westwood: Averaged 15 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals as a freshman.

Madison Golden, Dutch Fork: Averaged 12.4 points, 6 rebounds last season.

Armanii Grice, Ridge View: Averaged 12.9 points last season. Named Elite Girls by SCBCA. Signed with UNC Asheville.

Cailah Hicklin, Lower Richland: Averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds last year. Signed with Charleston Southern.

Trinity Johnson, Hammond: Averaged 12.5 points and 4.1 assists last season.

Kamryn Lemon, Dreher: Averaged 16.1 points, 4.1 assists and steals last year. Named Top 5 Senior by SCBCA. Injured ACL in preseason and will miss season.

Taylor Lewis, Spring Valley: Averaged 4.8 points and 6.2 rebounds as a freshman last season.

Mayliah Lockett, Westwood: Averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds last year.

Jaelynn Murray, Dreher: Averaged 18.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks last year. Named Elite Girls by the SCBCA.

Ahlea Myers, Hammond: Averaged 13.5 points and 3.0 steals

Mya Parter, Cardinal Newman: Played last season at Heathwood Hall and averaged 22.1 points a game.

Danae Pough, Swansea: All-state selection last year as a freshman.
