Christian Brown, a 6-foot-7 forward from Lower Richland, headed up to Virginia Tech Saturday for a tour of campus and to watch the Hokies game with Louisville. It's his latest visit to a school he's considering as he also ponders whether to stay in the 2019 class or move the process up to 2018.

"Virginia Tech has a beautiful campus. Blacksburg is differently a college town. Loved the way the fans support the team," Brown said. "Coach Buzz is a players coach. He really cares and his passion shows on and off the court. I am glad I came to see for myself and enjoyed the experience."

The visit to Virginia Tech came the weekend after Brown was back at Clemson for the Duke game. The Tigers remain firmly in his mind.

"Really enjoyed the visit last Sunday when they played Duke," he said. He's not heard from USC.

Brown said he doesn't have any other visits planned at this point but he'd like to get down to Florida at some point. His offer list also includes Georgia, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Connecticut, UNLV, Auburn, Florida State, Tennessee and others.

Brown missed about a month of his season due to a concussion.
