Popular breakfast, brunch spot coming to next phase of West Columbia’s Brookland

A chain known for its breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings plans to set up shop in the final phase of West Columbia’s Brookland Development.

According to a social media post from commercial real estate firm Trinity Partners, Another Broken Egg Cafe will open a restaurant in the planned 4West phase of the Brookland development, which is in West Columbia, near the Gervais Street Bridge.

The 4West phase of Brookland will have 52 designer apartments and about 15,000 total square feet of retail space.

The post from Trinity Partners said Another Broken Egg Cafe will occupy about 4,000 square feet of space in the development, and is eyeing an opening in the second quarter of 2023.

There are several Another Broken Egg Cafe locations in South Carolina, including one at 4600 Devine St. in Columbia. There also is a location under construction in Lexington, right in front of the Regal Northlake Village movie theater.

Another Broken Egg is known for its breakfast items the Bourbon Street Pancakes are a favorite as well as its lunch and brunch menus. It also has a solid menu of signature cocktails.
