A new bar and restaurant has opened its doors at a marina on Lake Murray. Check out where
There’s a new spot for food and drinks along the waters of Lake Murray.
Martin’s Landing Bar & Grill opened March 1 at 849 Marina Way in Prosperity, as noted in multiple social media messages from the restaurant. It’s part of the Martin’s Landing Marina on the northwestern portion of Lake Murray.
“We successfully navigated opening weekend,” Martin’s Landing wrote in a March 3 Facebook post. “Thank you to all our guests, family and friends for attending this long anticipated event. A big thank you to all our employees, we have a great group of people helping us make this possible. Looking forward to a great summer!”
Menu items at Martin’s, as shown in photos shared by opening weekend diners, include burgers, shrimp & grits, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, salads and more.
“Chicken fingers were SO good,” one diner shared on the Martin’s Landing Facebook page. “We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and kindness of the staff!”
Martin’s Landing Bar & Grill’s hours for March are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.
Known as the “jewel of South Carolina,” Lake Murray has added new restaurants in the last couple years.
Southshore Grill & Grocery, an eatery from the owners of Cafe Strudel, opened at 3106 U.S. 378 in Leesville last summer. Na’Cho Margarita, a Mexican restaurant, opened at 745 Marina Way at Martin’s Landing in August 2023, and regional Mexican chain San Jose opened a Lake Murray spot at 3340 U.S. 378 in Leesville in December 2023.
More recently, Buck’s Pizza opened a new location at 101 Sandalwood Road in February, near Prices Bridge Road on the western side of the lake.
