A Lexington Chick-fil-A along a major road is set to reopen. Here’s when
A Lexington Chick-fil-A located at the nexus of a pair of high-traffic roadways is set to reopen its doors after some renovations.
The Chick-fil-A Saluda Pointe location at 4295 Sunset Blvd. is set to reopen at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, according to posts on the restaurant’s social media. The restaurant has been closed since late September.
“Enjoy our brand new double drive-thru lanes all the way around and an upgraded drive-thru experience for faster, more personal service,” the Saluda Pointe Chick-fil-A said on Instagram. “Plus — place a Mobile Drive-thru order through the Chick-fil-A App Wednesday–Saturday to earn bonus points. We can’t wait to serve you again!”
The news of an expanded double drive-thru will likely be music to the ears of the many commuters who use the Chick-fil-A location at Saluda Pointe. The restaurant sits right along bustling Sunset Boulevard and just west of Interstate 20. Nearly 34,000 cars per day travel down that section of Sunset Boulevard, per state Department of Transportation data, while nearly 90,000 cars per day traverse I-20 nearby.
The expansion of the drive-thru at Saluda Pointe is just the latest in a series of moves, upgrades, renovations, openings and expansions at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the Midlands in the last few years. And there’s more on the way: Chick-fil-A is building a new store on Bush River Road in Columbia, in the parking lot of Dutch Square Center mall, which will replace the older unit currently at 229 Bush River.
