This bustling Lexington highway has a new location of a prolific national store
A national convenience store brand has opened a new location in a growing area of Lexington.
Circle K, which has stores across the U.S. and South Carolina, debuted a new location this week at 2112 Augusta Highway. That’s at the northeast corner of Augusta Highway and Wise Ferry Road, about a mile east of Lexington High School. It’s across the road from a CubeSmart self-storage facility.
Circle K has actively grown its footprint in the Midlands, and specifically in Lexington County. For instance, the company opened a new store at 1512 North Lake Drive in Lexington in early 2025, and debuted a location at 5904 Platt Springs Road in the Red Bank area later in 2025.
The area where the new Augusta Highway Circle K is located is a bustling, growing spot. Numerous new subdivisions, including Murray Village and Hendrix Farms, are nearby, and a host of businesses, including Lowes Foods, McDonald’s, Arby’s, Sonic and more are located just to the west on Augusta Highway. There also is a Target store under development along Augusta Highway.
The company has nearly 7,000 convenience stores across the U.S., according to data site ScrapeHero. Circle K started in 1951 in Texas and has grown through the years, and now has locations across the world, including in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
