2nd suspect arrested in slaying of Columbia man; 3 suspect sought
A second man has been charged in connection with the March slaying of a Columbia resident.
Terry Johnson, 18, was charged with murder and criminal conspiracy, according to the Columbia Police Department. He is accused of shooting Marvin Venson Webber, 28, in the 7300 block of Patterson Road in March.
Columbia investigators believe Webber was shot and killed while attempting to sell a vehicle to three men. In April, Donte Anthony Foskey, 19, was arrested in connection with the shooting on charges of accessory after the fact of murder and possession of a stolen vehicle, police said.
Foskey is accused of witnessing Webber’s shooting, leaving the scene and not calling police to report the crime. He is still being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on a $130,000 bond.
A third suspect is still sought in this case, according to the Columbia Police Department.
Anyone with information is asked Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
