Man found shot outside 7-Eleven in South Carolina, Lexington County sheriff says
A man was shot overnight Saturday, and there’s a search for the person who pulled the trigger, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to a shooting at the 7-Eleven convenience store in the 5100 block of Platt Springs Road, the sheriff’s department said in a Saturday afternoon news release. That’s in Lexington, near other retail businesses and restaurants.
Information about what time the shooting occurred was not available.
Deputies found a man who had been shot in the upper body, according to the release. The victim was taken to an area hospital, the sheriff’s department said. Further information the victim’s condition was not available.
No other injuries were reported.
