Law enforcement a state away arrested the third suspect in the July killing of a 23-year-old man a few blocks from Palmetto Health Richland.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and members of the Wilson Police Department in North Carolina arrested Jamal Trutus Curtis Hughey, 22, in Wilson, according to a news release from Columbia Police Department. Wilson is about 50 miles east of Raleigh off of Interstate 95.

Hughey is charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

Investigators continue to look for a motive but believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
