Lucky gambler bets $5 on slot machine — then wins life-changing prize at CT casino

A New York woman traveled to a Connecticut casino and won a “massive jackpot” off a small bet.

Now, she’s $100,929.93 richer.

The woman sat at a “Wheel of Fortune” Triple Double Diamond slot machine Oct. 13 at the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville, the hotel said in a news release.

She bet $5, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.

That wasn’t the only jackpot win that weekend.

Another player hit the jackpot on a Dragon Link slot machine Oct. 12, the casino said.

The Massachusetts woman won $11,602.64.

Uncasville is in southeastern Connecticut.
