Lottery player has hard time believing huge win is real in Michigan. ‘Amazing feeling’
A Michigan woman was left in disbelief after seeing she won a huge lottery prize on a second chance game.
Sherry Spencer, 71, was chosen in a random drawing after playing the BIG CA$H Second Chance Jackpot game on Michiganlottery.com, according to a Dec. 23 news release from the Michigan Lottery.
“I saw an email from the Lottery that said I’d won a $129,866 BIG CA$H second chance jackpot, but I had a hard time believing it was real,” Spencer told lottery officials.
Spencer said after the email, she got a call from the lottery and “was so delighted to hear that it was a real prize.”
She said she plans to take a vacation, buy extra gifts for her grandkids and save the rest.
“Winning is such an amazing feeling,” she said.
