Hootie guitar great Mark Bryan to play concert in Columbia

Fresh off concerts in Charleston as part of Hootie and The Blowfish’s yearly “Homegrown” weekend, the band’s two-time Grammy-winning guitarist and co-founder, Mark Bryan will be play this fall in Columbia as part of a handful of stops to promote his recently released third solo album, “Songs of the Fortnight.”

Bryan opens the tour next week in New York City. He stops in at Columbia’s Music Farm/Tin Roof Oct. 5 as part of the Vista After 5 concert series (5 p.m. early show, free admission), with guest The Occasional Milkshake.

Mark Bryan’s third album “Songs of the Fortnight” is out now via the artist’s own Chucktown Music Group.
