He says he was left out. So, here is what this Democratic governor candidate is doing

Unhappy with being left out of the proceedings, Democratic governor candidate Phil Noble has made other plans for Wednesday’s State of the State address.

Noble will livestream his own response to Gov. Henry McMaster’s speech on his campaign Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as a YouTube channel and his campaign site.

The Charleston businessman had complained about a decision by the S.C. House Democratic Caucus to have Rep. James Smith, D-Richland, give the official Democratic response to the governor.

Smith is also running for governor and will face off with Noble in a June primary.

The State of the State will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on S.C. ETV, followed by Smith’s address. Noble’s speech will begin at 9 p.m.
