Darius Rucker is joining Santa Claus this Sunday at South Carolina women’s basketball
Legendary musician and noted South Carolina fan Darius Rucker will be on hand Sunday at Colonial Life Arena when Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks face Savannah State — probably.
After all, who else has a name that rhymes with Hilarious Trucker?
The official Twitter account of South Carolina women’s basketball made the not-so-cryptic announcement Thursday, telling fans that in addition to the previously announced presence of Santa Claus, someone whose name rhymes with rhymes with Hilarious Trucker would be in attendance for the matchup, the Gamecocks’ last home contest before Christmas.
We are up to TWO special guests at Sunday's game. One rhymes with Fanta and the other rhymes with Hilarious Trucker #Gamecocks, who could it be?! @dawnstaley pic.twitter.com/5mlDbd1BZP

Rucker has already attended a USC football game this season, watching the Gamecocks beat Florida, 28-20, and he played a concert earlier this year at Colonial Life Arena. He’s also playfully interacted with Staley on Twitter before, comparing her singing abilities to Whitney Houston.
No word yet on whether the two will link up for a duet on Sunday.
It's about time Sindarius Zucker showed up to a game
