South Carolina football lands commitment from starting Big 10 offensive lineman
South Carolina football has landed its second offensive lineman commitment out of the transfer portal.
Purdue guard Hank Purvis has committed to the Gamecocks. He announced the commitment on his social media page with “Spurs Up” symbol. The move was first reported by 247Sports. Purvis joins Central Florida’s Carter Miller, who committed earlier on Tuesday. USC has landed four players from the transfer portal so far.
South Carolina will be Purvis’ third stop. He played at UNLV as a freshman and appeared in 14 games. This season at Purdue, he appeared in all 10 games, started the final six games and had a 63.5 grade, according to Pro Football Focus.
Purvis was a three-star prospect and all-state selection coming out of Bishop Carroll in Kansas.
