South Carolina’s roster now includes a second pair of brothers.

On offense, the Gamecocks of course have the sibling tandem of QB LaNorris Sellers and WR Jayden Sellers. Now, on defense, the Gamecocks will have the freshman pair of Andrew and Aiden Harris and, now via the transfer portal, the Collins’ bros.

On Sunday, Alabama transfer defensive lineman Kelby Collins and his brother, Arkansas State DE transfer Drew Collins, told On3 Sports’ Hayes Fawcett they’re teaming up at South Carolina.

Kelby is the higher-regarded brother. A former top-45 prospect in the Class of 2023, he signed with Florida out of Gardendale High (Ala.) and saw the field immediately. In two years with the Gators, Kelby played in 18 games, tallying 29 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

He entered the transfer portal following the 2024 season and signed with Alabama. During his junior season with the Crimson Tide, Kelby didn’t earn a start but played in all 14 games and notched three tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.

He will enroll at South Carolina with one year of eligibility.

Drew, meanwhile, will have three years of eligibility with the Gamecocks.

A year younger than Kelby, Drew signed with Arkansas State as a three-star prospect in the Class of 2024. He didn’t see action in year one and was able to redshirt. With the Red Wolves in 2025, Drew Collins took snaps at defensive end in 11 games (no starts) and recorded three sacks.
